Skydot Privacy Policy

What Data Does SkyDot Collect? How is the data used?

SkyDot collects analytics data related to actions made within the app. None of the data is personally identifiable and is used only to help improve the app. It also helps me see what actions are done more, so I can put more effort into those functions. The app transmits the Android advertising ID as well as your IP Address so I can show advertisements on the app to help support the time I put into development.

Who sees this data?

The servers for the ad networks that I use, process your IP Address and Android Advertising ID to facilitate the ads. The Ad Networks I use are Google's Adsense, and Appodeal.
Click here for Google's Privacy Policy.
Click here for Appodeal's Privacy Policy.
I see all the data outside your IP Address and Android Advertising ID (via Google Analytics).

Permissions

SkyDot asks for the following permissions:
          uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"
          uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"
          uses-permission android:name="android.permission.VIBRATE"

The first two are to read and update your highscores within the app, respectively. The third is required for vibrating your phone when the game ends.
